Job Description
Responsibilities: 1. Server Troubleshooting: In accordance with the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW), assist in troubleshooting, reporting and handling faults for designated servers, operating systems (OS) and switches. 2. IDC Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of the managed Internet Data Center (IDC) facility. 3. Asset Management: Perform daily management of data center-related assets; conduct regular and ad-hoc asset inventory checks. 4. Conduct regular and ad-hoc asset inventory checks 5. Other Assigned Tasks: Complete other data center-related tasks as assigned. Requirements: 1. Knowledge of conventional PC server configuration and architecture, proficient in assembling and disassembling PC servers, with at least 1 year of experience in PC server maintenance. 2. Independent preliminary diagnostics and simple repairs of PC server failures. 3. Familiarity with concepts related to BMC, BIOS, and RAID. 4. Basic knowledge of IDC data center operations. 5. Basic knowledge of structured cabling and ability to identify cables. 6. Completed higher education or equivalent. 7. Conversational English proficiency.
